National award winning filmmaker Sharada Ramanathan, has been chosen as the jury of the international screenwriting competition, the finals of which will be held at the first International Film Festival & Award Macao 2016 (IFFAM). Speaking about the honour, Sharada said, “This is a unique opportunity for screenwriters from India to showcase their talent in an international ground.” Sharada’s next project will be announced in December.
SPB honoured again
After being conferred with the Centenary Award at IFFI, legendary singer S.P. Balasubramanyam adds yet another feather to his cap. Recently, Rocheston Accreditation Institute, New York, presented him with the ‘Distinguished Gentleman’ Atlas Trophy for outstanding contributions to the film industry. The citation stated that his ever-youthful voice has created magic that reflects his strong, humble and passionate personality.
