It's a season of crime thrillers and joining the list is Ethirvinaiyatru, which has a doctor turned hero Alex and Sanam Shetty in the lead. Inspired from a real life incident that took place in the city, Alex has also taken the onus of directing the flick along with his friend Ilamaidas, a short filmmaker.
Speaking to DC, Alex says, “It is about an unassuming photographer whose life turns topsy turvy after he rescues a woman from a predicament one night. The story happens in 24 hours time. We have taken prior permission from the real life personalities who were part of the incident”.
Sanam Shetty plays a doctor in the film and Lakshmi Priya appears in a crucial character. Sanam reveals, “I was apprehensive initially, because the entire team was new. However, once the shooting started, I gave up my misgivings as they were thorough professionals. I am happy to be part of Ethirvinaiyatru. My character is the one who helps the hero to come out of the complex situation.”
We hear there are some steamy lip locks in the film. “I agree there are smooching scenes, but not steamy as you state. They appear in songs as passing reference”.
While RK Suresh comes as a cop, Aadukalam Naren will appear in a role which gives a twist to the proceedings. Sherif does the music and Aruvi composer Vedanth has scored a romantic number....
