The return of the Baahubali trio

Nasser, Rana and Sathyaraj shoot for madai thiranDhu.

After Baahubali: The Conclusion, Rana Daggubati had Telugu release Nene Raju Nene Mantri, which became a huge hit in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film was dubbed in Tamil as Naan Aanaiyittal, which received mixed reviews from the audiences and critics alike.

Now, the actor is busy shooting for a period flick, Madai Thirandhu (1945 in Telugu) in Kochi. Directed by Sathyasiva, this is a bilingual movie, which also features Regina Cassandra, Nasser and RJ Balaji in prominent roles. Yet another important addition to the team is ace actor Sathyaraj. “Currently, the shoot is taking place in Kochi and the schedule is expected to go on for a couple more weeks. The film will mark the reunion of the Baahubali trio — Rana Daggubati, Nasser and Sathyaraj,” shares a source close to the team.

Rana Daggubati also posted a video on Instagram of himself trimming his long beard! He further added that he’d be sporting a new look in the film.

The principle shooting of Madai Thirandhu began in mid-2016 and huge sets have been erected for filming purposes. Produced by K Productions, the film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Madai Thirandhu is touted to revolve around the army of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose during World War 2.
