Amala Paul brought on board for sensational film Aadai
Amala Paul has teamed up with Ratna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan fame for a female centric movie titled Aadai (Dress). Touted to be a premise set against a sensational theme, reportedly, Amala Paul had instantly dropped a few projects with the intention that such an opportunity shouldn't be missed. Apparently, Meyaadha Maan brought Ratna Kumar into limelight for his captivating narration and treatment.
Steering clearly away from the common notion that female centric' films are either supernatural horror thrillers or women empowerment one, Aadai would break the stereotypical paradigms and be a substantial exception for its sensational theme, Ratna Kumar tells DC.
“Aadai is a dark comedy, and Amala does not have a pair as such. Aiming at mature audiences, the script has enough engrossing and entertaining elements intact. And it will also address the issue of where to draw the line when it comes to freedom.”
While other cast comprises of fresh faces, Pradheep’s band Oorka will compose the music. As of now Amala has her kitty full with flicks including Raatchasan, Adho Andha Paravai Pole and Malayalam movie Aadujeevitham.
