Sunaina, who made a guest appearance in Vijay’s Theri, is all geared up for the release of Nambiyar. She has been paired opposite Srikanth in this science fiction comedy. The Maasilamani actress essays Saroja, a bank employee in this film.
“The movie focuses on Srikanth’s character, who has to deal with a negative voice he hears inside his head — which makes him doubt himself! How I get involved in the situation, and how he deals with his life forms the crux of the story,” she reports.
The actress is also playing an important role in Deekay’s Kavalai Vendam. Elaborating, she says, “I play a simple, elegant, and polite girl, who is madly in love with Jiiva. The film is based on relationship drama and more.”
Sunaina claims that she had fun during the shoot of KV — “Kavalai Vendam boasts an ensemble cast. So initially, we were not able to talk to each other. But with time, we got along with each other well — to the point where we couldn’t even enact a simple scene because RJ Balaji would keep cracking jokes! I don’t know how Deekay managed to complete the film as we were laughing throughout.”
When queried if she would take up guest roles, she says, “Why would I say no? But, I was disappointed as people promoted my cameo in Theri as a small role. It gave a wrong signal that I was trying to cash in on the one-minute role.”
