Music director turned actor GV Prakash made heads turn when he signed an untitled film, to be directed by cinematographer-director Rajiv Menon. When AR Rahman was brought on board, this untitled project rose to a different level. Now, we hear that the film is all set to start rolling in September.
Reacting to the rumours about GV Prakash’s role in the film, a source revealed, “Yes, it is true that GV will be seen as a drummer in the film. Currently, he is taking drumming lessons to get the technique right on screen. This untitled film is about a musician trying to achieve greater heights in his life.”
The source also added that Premam fame Sai Pallavi has been considered for the female lead. The heroine for this film will be finalised in a week’s time. Also, reports say that AR Rahman will be composing nine songs for this project.
GV Prakash now has his hands full. He will be teaming up with directors Sasi and Adhik Ravichandran, and an exciting project will be announced by this month end as well. Good times ahead for him!
