The high court has now ordered that the elections be held and has also appointed former High Court judge K.N. Basha as the election officer.
The election is on June 10 and it will be held at Kandasamy College at Anna Nagar.
The Film and Television Producers Guild of South India elections have been announced. The elections for the trade body have not taken place since 2013 due to internal problems.
