Composer Thaman, who is already busy with Tamil and Telugu films, is now foraying into Bollywood. He is now part of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4, which has Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The young music director shared this news on Twitter, along with a picture with the director, saying, “My Bollywood debut with my dear director #rohithshetty the man of masses !! For #golmall4 @ajaydevgn @MayankTandon115 god bless (sic).”
In a chat with DC, he revealed that he has already started composing tunes for the film. “I hadbuilt a studio in Mumbai a long time ago, and have been working for Tamil and Telugu projects from there. I had plans to venture into Bollywood for a long time, but was busy with my films in Tamil and Telugu. Now is the time to make my debut.”
“I have started working on the film. It will have four tracks and songs from all the genres,” he added. When asked about the rumours that he is planning to join hands with Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay for a film, he reveals, “That’s surely on. I don’t know for which project but we will work together soon for a film. In next 2-3 months, there will be an announcement.”
When asked how he is able to manage time to work in three different industries, he laughs, “I don’t have anything else other than music on my mind. I spend all time in my studio. Also, I program all my songs myself, so I don’t have to depend on anyone.”
