Karthi, who is basking in the success of his Tamil-Telugu bilingual Oopiri, has now turned his sights to promoting his brother Suriya’s upcoming film 24. The film features Suriya in three roles.
Says Karthi, “I feel the script of 24 has given Suriya the potential to enact multiple shades. This will be an attempt towards trying out exciting ideas within the entertainment framework.”
Karthi insists he will watch 24 with the audience to gauge their response. “I agree with a fan who Tweeted after the teaser release, that this is the kind of avatar Suriya should be seen in.” Suriya, in turn, loved Karthi in Oopiri.
“He loved the film. He keeps pushing the boundaries and tries out new stuff irrespective of the time it consumes and the amount of work it demands. That is my inspiration.”
