We had reported earlier that Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti will team up for Amma Appa Vilaiyaatu, which also has Amala Akkineni, Ramya Krishnan and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles.
Now, the latest we hear is that Ulaganayagan will be launching this film on April 29 at the Nadigar Sangam venue. What’s more interesting is that, Kamal himself announced this on Twitter, “29th instant. 41st production of RKFI will be unveiled at Nadigar Sangam grounds. Resowing the sense of family on my land. Thanks to Sangam (sic).”
Directed by TK Rajeev Kumar, of Chanakyan fame, Amma Appa... is touted to be a multi-lingual, made in four languages — Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Sources say that the film will be shot in and around New York and Georgia.
Produced under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International, we also hear that the lead technicians working in this film would be from the US.
