As we were the first to report, the shooting of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, is going on in full swing inthe forests of Bangkok, Thailand. Huge sets have been erected there.
Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi are part of the first schedule, while Vikram, Vikram Prabhu, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sarathkumar and Jayaram, among others, will join the shoot in the next schedule. While AR Rahman is composing the music, Jayamohan pens dialogues. Screenplay is by Mani Ratnam and Kumaravel, and Ravi Varman cranks the camera.
