Comedian Jagan, who was seen alongside many heroes including Suriya, Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi, turns hero with a comedy caper titled Enakku Innum Kalyanam Aagalai. Giving him company is actress Rehana. The film marks the return of veteran writer Karaikudi Narayanan who has won several awards, after a long gap.
Directed by Murugalingam, a former associate of Karthik Raghunath, EIKA is a full-fledged comedy film that revolves around a cow. “The problems that arise out of bringing a cow to a police station for some reasons and the goof-ups that take place in the station and how our hero, who plays a policeman, gets caught in the predicament forms the crux,” explains the director. Lyricist Piraisoodan plays the villain.
