Suriya sympathises with Vijay Devarakonda in film leak issue

Vijay Deverakonda took to his Twitter space to post his feelings on this shocking incident.

Piracy has become a never-ending threat to the film industry, hugely affecting the box-office prospects of movies. Call it a repeat of the Tamil film Jaggubhai and now it is the turn of the Telugu industry to face the menace. Much to everyone’s shock, the full version of the Vijay Devarakonda movie Taxiwalla, a super natural comedy thriller, got leaked online even before the film hit the marquee.

Vijay Deverakonda took to his Twitter space to post his feelings on this shocking incident. He tweeted, “When I feel low, you know who picks up my spirits? You. Through all the noise, your love comes through to me the loudest”.

Earlier he had also shared a video while writing, “An exciting script - A young team - ambitious graphics - And years worth of passion, stress and hard work - an entire film leaked! The kids are back & Pillalaki oo clarity iyyataniki -#RealityBehindTaxiwaala (sic).”

After Devarakonda made an appeal to his fans to support him, Suriya who shares a rapport with the young Tollywood actor took to his twitter handle and extended his support. “You have all our love! This too shall pass..! But you are here to stay.!! #Taxiwaala looking forward....!! @TheDeverakonda”, tweeted Suriya.

One may recall in 2010, Sarathkumar starrer Jaggubhai, directed by KS Ravikumar, made it to the internet much before its theatrical release, the copy reportedly leaked from the post-production studio.
