After Mersal and Theri, it is for the third time that Vijay and Atlee will be teaming up for a film tentatively titled Thalapathy 63, produced by AGS Entertainment. And again, AR Rahman joins hands with Vijay for the third successive time after Mersal and Sarkar. While social media was speculating about the new film’s genre (after Vijay had made his political entry intention clear enough through Sarkar), the makers revealed its genre saying ‘it is a pucca mass family entertainer’.
Though other cast details are not out yet, our sources say that Nayanthara is the front-runner for the lead heroine role. The duo came together in Villu, which was directed by Prabhu Deva in 2009.
More buzz making the rounds is that talks are on with comedian Vivek. The two gave some memorable comic portions in the past. And if all goes well, Vivek and Vijay may come together after a gap of a decade. GK Vishnu will be behind the camera.
