Trisha pulled off the toughest scenes in a single take,” claims director Thirugnanam who is gearing up with his female centric action thriller Paramapadham Vilayattu (Snakes and Ladders), which has the actress playing the lead protagonist.
“It’s going to be a first of its kind Trisha movie! This might sound as a typical statement from a director, but it is no exaggeration. Paramapadham... will project her in a totally new dimension. When I went and narrated the script to Trisha, I had not finalised the crew and other cast. But she felt that the gist of PV, her characterisation and the way the script was sketched, has some uniqueness and instantly gave a nod to it. She plays a doctor, who will be kidnapped by the antagonist’s group. How she overcomes the hurdles and escapes the situation with her intelligent and bold moves forms the rest of the film,” Thiru tells us.
With major portions already completed, the team gears up to shoot its final schedule in 200-yr old Robert Clive Mansion in Yercaud.
Trisha, without a lead pairing, will be seen in the unconventional role and mother of a girl, and as the title suggests, it has several twists and turns. While actor Richard will be portraying a colour blind person for the first time, Nandha will also be seen in a crucial role. Ace cinematographer RD Rajshekar is behind the camera and Amaresh composes the music.
