Adhik Ravichandran hit the limelight with his very debut adult content film Trisha Illana Nayanthara, which had GV Prakash in the lead. His subsequent movie AAA with Simbu was a damp squib and now Aadhik returns with yet another youthful entertainer. He has teamed up with GV Prakash once again and the movie is interestingly titled Kadhalai Thaedi Nithyanandha. “Please don’t run your imagination and connect it with Swami Nithaynandha who has been caught in an alleged sex scandal. Here Nithyanandha refers to the names of the lead pair -Nithya and Nandha and it is their journey in love,” Adhik states. Amrya Dastur whom we saw last in Dhanush’s Anegan plays Nithya.
“KTNdeals with present day relationships and how far a man goes to prove his true love to his lady forms the crux. It’s a youthful romantic story, which also has horror and fantasy elements. (See pic of GVP).”
Though he is not too willing to open up about the horror factor, Adhik says, “There’s a big lesson to people who indulge in careless relationships.” Since it is all about love, can we get to see some steamy visuals and smooching scenes? Laughs. “Yes, I do agree that there are kissing scenes as it is a natural emotion between a boy and a girl in love. But I vouch there are no vulgar visuals or skin show in the film. The dialogues will be peppy and go well with young audiences.”
Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh are in the supporting cast, besides Sanchitha Shetty and Soniya Agarwal who play crucial roles. Produced by Dinesh Karthik, the film has award winning Lalgudi Ilayaraja as the art director.
