Vishal springs to Nani's defence

In another of never ending controversies triggered by Sri Reddy.

The ongoing controversy between Tollywood actress Sri Reddy and actor Nani seems to be never-ending. Actor and film fraternity office bearer Vishal has sprung to the defence of actor Nani. Sri Reddy has been perpetually in the news ever since she made casting couch allegations against several T’town celebrities, particularly targeting Pawan Kalyan and Nani. The actress had reportedly accused Nani of making her life ‘hell’. Recently she made yet another allegation that it was Nani who prevented her from becoming a part of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2. The Naan Ee actor responded by sending a legal notice to Sri Reddy for defaming him.

Meanwhile, speaking to the press in Hyderabad, actor/producer Vishal said, "I have known Nani for many years and I am not siding with him because of that. This latest accusation by Sri Reddy is perhaps the most disgraceful one. She is generalising and accusing everyone in the industry. Looks like she is picking up her targets randomly. That's really bad. Let her talk with evidence instead of making wild accusations. Anybody who knows Nani will know how dignified he is in his behaviour towards men and women."

Vishal added that if she could name Nani now, Sri Reddy could name just about anyone in the industry. Of course, the ripples she has caused are still flowing after her casting couch allegations and her ‘nude’ demonstration on the road in Hyderabad in front of the film chamber. No one is safe from her accusations, according to Vishal. The actor lauded Varalaxmi and Amala Paul for coming out when someone approached them with bad intensions and made a complaint to the police. Their actions are helping to expose men who behave badly with women, particularly those from the industry who are vulnerable because they are in the public eye being actresses.

One may also recall that Nani’s wife Anjana came out in support of her hubby recently. She took to her social media handle to write, “This industry has been kind but it troubles me to see that once in a while there comes along someone who puts their publicity ahead of other people’s lives. No one believes those ridiculous statements anyway. It is about how little they think before degrading themselves to such levels.”
