The title of Ra Karthik’s debut film with Dulquer Salmaan is out! The film has been titled Vaan, which is in part a travelogue and has four heroines as Dulquer’s love interest. Talking to DC, Karthik says, “Vaan means Vaanam (sky) and it even denotes rain, and other things. There are different segments in the film, which are nature related. Though there are four heroines, it is not the regular clichéd love story you come across on screens. It is about life and a feel good film and has a positive approach.”
On roping in Dulquer, he said, “So far, Dulquer has done 25 films in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Most of his films are content driven. He chooses only such kind of films. Vaan is no different. My first option was only Dulquer and he liked the subject.”
Karthik also reveals that Dulquer sports many looks in the flick. How about the lead girls? We hear you approached Nivetha Pethuraj and Shalini Pandey. “Only talks are on with some of the heroines. We haven’t finalised anyone.” This could probably be because the makers Kenanya Films are contemplating whether to do the film as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu to cash on Dulquer’s market in T’town.
