It looks like cine buffs will have more reason to rejoice, as the music albums of two biggies are being released this July. Yes, the audio launches are of the Vikram-Nayanthara-Nithya Menen starrer Iru Mugan and Suriya’s S-III, the third instalment in the Singam franchise. Harris Jayaraj, music director of both the films announced this on Twitter. He posted, “Ok. Here I am. Sharing the updates upon the request from my fans. Music of Iru Mugan will be out by next month followed by S3 (sic).”
While S-III marks the fourth-time collaboration of Hari and Harris Jayaraj after movies like Arul and Saami, it’s also the eighth collaboration of the latter and Suriya after blockbuster hits like Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini and 7aam Arivu.
Directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame, Iru Mugan is produced by Shibu Thameens, and has cinematography by RD Rajasekar. In S-III, Anushka plays Suriya’s romantic interest and Shruti Haasan essays the role of a CBI officer who helps Suriya in his investigations.
