Keerthy Suresh denies that she acting in a biopic of Jayalalithaa as reported in a few Tamil newspapers. Reacting to a question if she is part of a biopic planned on Jayalalihaa, the late chief minister of Tamil Nadu and legendary actress, she said, “I am not acting in any such biopic. With my present commitments, I have not signed any other film as yet.” A media person ventured further to ask if she would portray the late iconic actress Sridevi in a biopic to which she simply flashed her beautiful smile and walked away.
The actress had garnered critical acclaim for her portrayal of veteran actress Savitri in the biopic Mahanati in Telugu and Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil. Besides good reviews, both versions were declared hits at the box-office.
Keerthy was spotted at Tirumala Tirupati along with her grandmother Saroja who is acting alongside Charuhaasan in a gangster film titled Dhadha 87.
The Remo star Keerthy said that she was there to offer prayers and worship Lord Venkateshwara for making Mahanati a huge hit. “I am very happy and proud to have worked in Savitri-garu biopic. Because it was Savitri-garu I agreed to do the film. Thanks for all your love and support. I am here for the very reason to offer my prayers to the Lord for the success of the movie.”...
