Speaking to DC, Anandhan, a former assistant to Ezhil says, “It is a techno thriller with a patriotic backdrop. While Vishal plays an army officer, Shraddha is a cop in it. There is a lot of emotion as well.” He also clarifies that Chakra is a fresh script and not a sequel to Irumbu Thirai as rumoured. Bankrolled by VFF, Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music and ace Balasubramanieyam is behind the camera.
