We had reported earlier that the director duo, Pushkar and Gayathri, have brought in two A listers — Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi — in their upcoming film Vikram-Vedha. This unusual pairing is easily one of the most anticipated
combinations in the recent times.
Rumours are now rife that actor Kathir, who shot to fame through Kirumi has been approached for a role in the movie. A source close to the team reveals, “It is true that the duo has brought Kathir onboard to play an important character in this film. His characterisation will be in total contrast with the roles he had played so far. The official announcement will be out in two days’ time.”
In an earlier interview, Madhavan stated that he will be playing an encounter specialist, while Vijay Sethupathi essays a gangster in Vikram-Vedha. The shooting of this movie is likely to commence by December or January 2017.
