She is yet to arrive in Tamil cinema, but Manjima Mohan has created quite a buzz since Gautham Menon roped her in for Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. If sources are to be believed, Manjima has replaced Keerthy Suresh in K’town and is the top contender to act opposite Vijay Sethupathi in his next with director Paneerselvam of Renigunta fame.
Initially, the director was keen to rope in Keerthy, who is riding high in K’town and reportedly approached her. Since she is shuttling between many projects, it is learnt that the Remo actress took time to give her nod. Now, close sources say that another Malayali girl ,Manjima, might be brought onboard for the AM Rathnam produced venture. Manjima is presently busy with a Telugu movie and Mudi Sooda Mannan with Vikram Prabhu.
