Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame, who is reprising Tamannah’s role in the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster 100 % Love, became emotional while speaking at the audio launch of 100 % Kadhal.
“The journey for 100 % Kadhal started one and a half years back. We shot so long that we all became like a family. GV Prakash was supportive throughout in my getting dialogues correct, when initially I was not conversant with Tamil. It is a beautiful film and GVP’s music is fascinating. I thank my director Chandramouli for being patient with me, because I am quite a brat.”
GV Prakash, who has also taken the onus of composing the music, said, “I am happy that Sukumar, who gave the original blockbuster in Telugu is producing this. Chandramouli, who has worked in Hollywood as a cinematographer, has directed this. It is a young energetic film like Kushi. A happy, youth oriented campus film that will fill the void in Tamil cinema . I would say it will be enjoyed by the entire family audiences. It was a challenge to match the magic of Devi Sri Prasad who did music in the original.”
Veteran Jayachithra returns to the screen after a long gap and plays grandma of GVP. The film has Sathish, Yogi Babu, Nasser, Rekha, Manobala, RV Uthayakumar among others in the cast.
