Director Selvaraghavan, is busy shooting for his upcoming film, Mannavan Vandhanadi, starring Santhanam and Aaditi Pohankar in the lead roles. The film is said to be a romantic love story, in which Santhanam will have a boy-next-door image.
Recently, the team shot Santa’s introduction song in the film, in Chennai. Selvaraghavan posted, “And what an opening song from @thisisysr for #MannavanVan-thanadi think you will all like it. Cute dancing by @iamsanthanam. (sic)”
After completing two schedules, the team is currently on a break and will resume shooting in April. A source close to the actor says, “Santa will be shooting for a song from Sakka Podu Podu Raja in Bengaluru from today. After finishing the schedule, he will join the Odi Odi Uzhaikanum team. In April, he will take off to the US, where he will shoot for the introduction song from Sakka Podu... sung by Anirudh Ravichander. Once he completes the song, he will continuously shoot for Mannavan Vandhanadi.”
Meanwhile, Santhanam is currently listening to different scripts. “Although, he has been discussing scripts with several directors, he hasn’t finalised any new films as of now,” the source adds.
