Ravi and I share a great comfort level: Shakti Soundar Rajan

Filmmaker Shakti Soundar Rajan is quite careful about his choices — be it actors, or the kinds of scripts that he works on. Fresh from the success of the zombie film Miruthan, he’s geared up for his next, in which he’ll be teaming up with Jayam Ravi again.

Says Shakti, “I am writing the script and things are in the nascent stages. It will be produced by J Selvakumar of Kenanya Films banner. We will begin shooting post June.” He adds, “Ravi and I share a great comfort level. It’s all about that, and giving each other space too. We share a good friendship off the sets. Since we know each other’s strengths so well, we can ensure a scene is taken to the next level.”

Also, a little birdie tells us that this film is touted to be the most expensive in Ravi’s career and has a novel content! While the genre and other details of the film are unknown as yet, whether this reunion happened for Miruthan 2 or an altogether new film is something we will have to wait and watch out for!
