Ennodu Vilayadu will be a turning point for me: Bharath
Bharath is returning after a gap with the romantic thriller, Ennodu Vilayadu . The film is based on horse racing, betting, money and gambling. The actor spoke to DC on how important the film is to him, his readiness for multi-starrers (here Kathir is also in the lead), his two lead ladies Chandini and Sanchitha Shetty.
“When debutant director, Arun Krishnaswamy narrated the script, it was a fresh genre and was very interesting. I have not seen a Tamil film with a backdrop of horse race and betting, in my 14 years’ career in cinema. It is going to be a turning point in my career,” Bharath quips.
At a time when social media has a huge impact on a film’s success, it is imperative to have unique and creative content, he adds. “With its neat making style, I am confident that Ennodu Vilayadu will be a new experience for the Tamil audience and will be a hit at BO. There’s also a message in it. It speaks about the repercussions of indulging in horse race-betting,” Bharath muses.
On multi-starrers, he says, “I have always been open to multi-starrers. I did Chellame with Vishal, Pattiyal with Arya, Veyyil with Pasupathy and Vaanam with STR. Here, Kathir also plays an important role.” The Kadhal star is equally happy that he has two ladies to romance, who are well-versed in the Tamil language.
