Thaman's sister croons for Anjali
Yamini croons a song for the first time for a bilingual titled Yaar Nee in Tamil and Chitrangada in Telugu.

Ace music composer Thaman’s younger sister Yamini croons a song for the first time for a bilingual titled Yaar Nee in Tamil and Chitrangada in Telugu. The romantic melody, which begins with the line Vaada Vaada Nenjai Thirudiya in a composition by father son duo Selvaganesh —Swaminathan, was recently recorded in Chennai. Ashok G, the choreographer-turned-filmmaker in Tollywood, is wielding the megaphone for the heroine centric movie which has Anjali playing the titular role.
An edge-of-the-seat thriller, the song rendered by Yamini will be shot on Anjali, says Ashok and added, “Yamini has never sung earlier although she comes from a musical family — her brother Thaman is big in Telugu and Tamil. She is an IT professional in Mumbai. After a chance hearing of her voice, Swami nathan felt that it was apt for the romantic melody and roped her in to sing this number.”
