Actor Arvind Swamy made a promising comeback by portraying the role of Siddharth Abhimanyu in Thani Oruvan, starring Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara.
The news of the Roja actor joining hands with Ravi for the second time came as a huge surprise for his fans, as the duo will be seen sharing screen space in Bogan, directed by Lakshman of Romeo Juliet fame.
Talking to DC, Lakshman reveals, “The talkie portions of the film are almost done, with patch work and a song still left to be shot. This song will be a special number and will feature Arvind Swamy in an exotic locale. We have locked in Russia as one of the choices, and in this song you can see a different Arvind altogether!”
When quizzed whether Bogan is based on a real incident, he quips, “The story is a mix of real and reel incidents. In fact, the film will have a fictional story, with Bhogar (who sculpted Lord Muruga’s statue) as the baseline.”
Without delving much into Arvind Swamy and Ravi’s characters, Lakshman revealed that both the stars have the tough job of portraying somebody else. When asked whom they would be enacting, he promptly replies, “That is the surprise and if I reveal it, I would give away the plot.”
