Real life brothers JK and Jayakanth are making their debut in a film Thiruppathisami Kudumbam. They will be playing brothers in the film as well. Directed by Suresh Shanmugam, who gave hit movies like Arasu and Gambeeram, the film has debutant Aishwaryalakshmi in the female lead. Actor Jayan portrays the titular role. Noted producer Baburaja speaks about the film and why he brought his two sons on board.
Baburaja says, “I have worked in Supergood Films for 25 years and in Rajini sir’s recent movie Kabali as an executive producer. I also made a few films independently. When Suresh narrated this story to me, he said that he needed two young boys for the lead roles in the family drama. He also suggested that my sons would be apt for that. With one condition that nothing should be thrust into the script just because they are my sons, I accepted it.”
It’s a clean family film, which can be watched by the entire family and I am happy Censor Board gave a ‘U’ Certification, he adds.
