Composer Anirudh Ravichander became an overnight sensation when Kolaveri song from his debut film 3 released. He kept delivering hits after hits and his career took speed when he was brought on board for Vijay starrer Kaththi directed by AR Murugadoss. The film and songs became a blockbuster hit and even now, it remains in the playlist of many.
A couple of weeks back, we had reported that AR Murugadoss and Vijay are teaming up for the third time after delivering super hit films Thupakki and Kaththi.
This untitled flick, which will be funded by Sun Pictures, is touted to have a social message embedded in it like their previous films. Now, the latest update is that the makers have roped in Anirudh to compose the music for Vijay’s 62nd film.
AR Murugadoss is currently busy with his directorial venture Spyder, while Vijay is shooting for Atlee’s Mersal.
This film is said to go on floors later this year and Anirudh will join the team after he is done with his current commitments. Anirudh is now on a high with the success of two singles — Surviva and Thalai Viduthalai from Ajith – Vivek Oberoi starrer Vivegam.
