Nithya Menen, who was last seen in Vikram’s Iru Mugan, is all set to come back with a couple of projects that have mostly woman-oriented subjects. According to a source, the actress may play the lead in the Kannada hit film U-Turn that is going to be remade in Telugu.
It was earlier reported that Samantha was doing this film, but it seems she dropped out. “It has now come to Nithya, who is interested to do the film, but waiting for clarity about the project,” says a source.
U-Turn directed by Pawan Kumar, got an overwhelming response, not only in Karnataka, but all across the nation. Nithya will be reprising the role of Shraddha Srinath, for which the latter received critical acclaim.
In the meantime, Telugu producer K. S. Rama Rao has approached her for another woman-oriented drama. Both of them had worked together earlier in the successful film Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju....
