There are many film personalities who do several things for their mothers like starting a charity foundation, launching production banners in their mothers’ names and so on — but Raghava Lawrence has built a temple for his living mom Kanmani and is inaugurating it on this Mother’s Day. The temple is situated near Raghavendra Swami Temple built by him at Ambattur.

The Kanchana star would be distributing 1000 sarees for female senior citizens and redeeming the mangalsutras of six women belonging to farmer’s families who hadmortgaged them.

Talking to DC, Lawrence said, “It’s been a long-time dream to build a temple for my mother when she is alive. She has sacrificed her life for my sake and today whatever I am, it’s all because of my mom. I am dedicating this temple to all the mothers who have sacrificed their lives for their children.”

He adds, “Fight master Super Subbarayan sir will be unveiling the temple as he was the one who supported me in my initial struggling days.”
