Actor Madhavan feels nostalgic as 'Alayipayuthey' marks its 20th year
Actor R.Madhavan or better known as 'Maddy' posted a collage of pictures from his debut film 'Alaipayuthey' as its been 20 years since the movie had released.
The movie which came out in 2000 was directed by Mani Ratnam and had music composed by AR Rahman.

The movie was a raging hit making the actor a household name and the music had become evergreen with time.
Even today the songs are quite popular and the movie has aged well with time. The movie was remade in hindi with the name 'Saathiya' and had Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherji in the lead roles.
Since his debut film, Madhavan has worked with Mani Ratnam on other films such as ‘Kannathil Muthamittal’, ‘Guru’ and ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’.
Madhavan was last seen in role of a cop in ‘Vikram Vedha’ alongside Vijay Sethupathi and the OTT web series ‘Breathe’.
Fans are eager to see the actor again on the big screen and while we are all at home in quarantine we might as well take a dose of nostalgia by re-watching this classic.
