Idhu Namma Aalu starring Simbu in the lead, has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The film, directed by Pandiraj, was initially to release on Pongal. While Nayanthara plays STR’s romantic interest, Andrea will be seen in an extended cameo. Pandiraj wrote on Twitter, “INA certified ‘U’. Coming soon. Very happy! (sic).” For the first time comedian Soori has teamed up with Simbu! Idhu... will also mark the latter’s brother Kuralarasan debuting as a music composer; the songs in the album have already crossed more than one million views. Produced by T Rajendar’s Simbu Cine Creations, Sri Thenandal Films holds the TN theatrical rights for the film. It looks like the makers will soon announce its theatrical release!
