Ever since the title Iru Mugan was announced, expectations were high among Vikram fans. Now, we hear that the third schedule of the shooting will begin in Chennai post March 20 with Nayanthara joining the sets. Sources say the actress has also given bulk dates to the crew as there will be back to back song schedules. Directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame, the stylish science fiction thriller, has been partly shot in Kashmir and will fly to Bangkok, for final schedule, after they wrap up the Chennai schedule.
Rumours are also abuzz that Nayanthara plays a secret agent in the film, and the audience will get to see her do some action sequences. Sources add that already some parts of the film have been canned in Malaysia, where there was this impressive car chasing scene, involving professional drivers from abroad, for which Vikram did the stunts all by himself.
The film is being produced by Shibu Thameens and is expected to hit the screens in July. This is the first time Nayanthara has paired up with Vikram, who will be seen in dual roles in the film. Iru Mugan has Nithya Menen, Nassar in pivotal roles, besides Harris Jayaraj on music.
