After wielding the megaphone and playing a crucial role in Koditta Idangalai Nirapuga, Parthiepan is all set to be part of Gautham Menon’s pet project, Dhruva Natchathiram. Vikram plays an investigative officer in this spy thriller while Pellichoopulu actress Ritu Varma has been roped in as the female lead.
A source reveals, “Parthiepan was a part of the shelved Dhruva Natchathiram which had Suriya as the hero. Now, he has been retained in the revived version of DN as well. We are yet to figure out his schedule, as Vikram is shuttling between DN and Vijay Chandar’s untitled venture.”
When prodded whether he is playing the villain, the source remained tight-lipped. According to the source, DN’s shoot will resume within ten days.
Cinematographer Jomon T. John, editor Suresh Urs and music director Harris Jayaraj are part of the technical team. Produced by Ondraga Entertainment, Dhruva Natchathiram will be distributed by P Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
