Rakul Preet Singh would consider Kajal Aggarwal her best friend for this reason

Mumbai: Actress Kajal Aggarwal has reigned over the hearts of the audience for a very long time now. But it looks like she’s called the queen of hearts for a completely different reason — her kind gestures towards her friends at every given opportunity! Take the most recent example of Rakul being roped in to play the female lead in Nani and Nagarjuna’s upcoming film with director Sriram Adittya. Turns out Kajal had a major role in the casting.

A source tells us, “The role was initially offered to Kajal, who’s had a great bond with Nani, and has recently worked with him in 'Awe'. While she refused to be a part of the film because of other commitments, she recommended Rakul’s name for the project and even convinced the team that she’d be perfect for the role. The former okayed the film soon after.”

Rakul has been keeping away from tried and tested films for a while in a bid to reinvent herself. Apparently, this was Kajal’s move to help out her friend in the same regard. Well, Kajal is surely a friend indeed!
