The single Bewajah, touted to be the first vertical video of India, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, has turned out to be an instant hit clocking in about 2.5 millions views in matter of hours since its launch. His Bollywood fans have been highly receptive of the Kolaveri boy’s song and laurels have been pouring in for the songs on comments section.
The composer himself has been pleased by the feedback it has received and took to Twitter to thank his fans. He wrote, “2.5 million within six hours of release for our Hindi independent music debut! This is mind-blowing #Bewajah.” (sic)
The song, which is targeted at people who consume music through their mobile phones, gives a unique and unconventional video watching experience in the portrait mode of a smart phone.
Bewajah is about the journey of finding lost love and has been sung by Anirudh, Irene and Srinidhi Venkatesh.
