The STR-Manjima starrer Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, directed by Gautham Menon, was mired in problems, but finally released on Friday, with a massive opening despite a delayed release and a low cash flow among the public.
Menon thanked director Lingusamy on Twitter, for helping him during the crisis and remarked that brotherhood in the film industry exists. He tweeted, “Thank you for stepping in to help release the film at the nth hour. Really grateful. @dirlingusamy. Brotherhood in the film industry exists.”
He also expressed his gratitude to distributor Tirupur Subramaniam and financier Jaswant Bhandari for their support at late hours — “Thank you Mr. Jaswant Chand Bhandari Tirupur Subramaniam sir. We are grateful for your support and guidance and that too at 2AM for #AYM.”
