RK Suresh turns hero with Thani Mugam

The icing on the cake is that he essays a double role in Thaniwhere one of the roles requires him to don the khakis.

Villains turning into heroes is not a new phenomenon in K’town; Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Sarathkumar, to name a few, have done it in the past. RK Suresh of Studio 9 production house, turned an actor with national award winner Bala’s Thaarai Thappatai. Having won accolades for his menacing villainous act in TT as well as in Vishal’s Marudhu, Suresh has been roped in to play the protagonist in Thani Mugam, directed by Sajith of Mollywood.

The icing on the cake is that he essays a double role in Thani…where one of the roles requires him to don the khakis. Apparently, it is a thriller and the story happens in a day’s time. While Riyaz Khan plays a vital character, Anjena Kirti who has done few films in Tamil and presently acting in Chennai 28 Second Innings, has also been brought on board for a crucial role.

“Having acted in a film by Bala was a great experience. I am confident that I can pull off any kind of role,” Suresh says in an excited tone. The producer-turned-hero is presently busy with four films, including Vijay’s Bhairava, in which he plays a baddie.
