Parvathy Nair is on cloud nine! The young actresss got to spend an entire day with none other than former Australian cricketer and proud CSKian — Mathew Hayden recently, when the cricketer was in the city to promote the Tamil Nadu Premier League, and paid visits to Madurai and Tirunelveli as well.
The organisers of TNPL have come up with innovative promos in which we can see Parvathy accompanying Hayden — and becoming one of us — a true-blue Tamil payyan!
The Yennai Arindhaal actress is all praise for the cricketer, “He is an amazing gentleman and a fun person to be with. Spending a day with Hayden was something very special, as he would talk about cricket and I’d teach him about Tamil culture. The best part about the whole experience? We watched Kabali at Albert theatre together — Haydos’ first Tamil padam!”
She adds, “We both had a great time shooting for the episodes. The theme of the videos is Tamil culture and Hayden will be sporting traditional attire. From the native language to cuisine and customs, we covered it all. In fact, he ate more spicy food than I did!”
Hayden will be back in Chennai once again in September to be a part of the TNPL. The tournament will begin on August 27th and will go on until September 18th.
