“Hard work alone is not enough to achieve success in life. It is only through God’s grace and good thoughts that one becomes a successful person,” Rajinikanth remarked at an event organised to felicitate A.C. Shanmugam.
The actor, who has just returned from Kolkata after a long shooting schedule for his upcoming flick, was at his humorous best on the occasion. “I have always admired AC Shanmugam for his hard work. And even more than that, I love his hairstyle! I often think, that even I should have sported a similar style,” he said.
Speaking extempore, he made an error, saying, “He works like iron and is strong as an ant.” But he quickly realised his slip of the tongue and followed it up with “I know I will be trolled for this on social media.”
