Kajal to team up with P Vasu
Kajal Aggarwal is upbeat about her upcoming Telugu film, Nene Raja Nene Mantri, and has also wrapped up her portions in Vijay’s Mersal and Ajith’s Vivegam. The actress was in the news a couple of weeks ago for considering being part of Queen’s Tamil remake.
Now, it is said that the Kavalai Vendam actress has agreed on principle to be part of a female-oriented thriller flick, to be directed by P Vasu.
Speaking from Australia, director P Vasu says, “I have narrated the script to Kajal and she has expressed interest in doing the film. I will be returning to India by the end of the month and will be discussing the schedules then. As of
now, I’m planning to helm the film in Tamil and Telugu — but if things go as per plan, I might also make it in Hindi.”
The iconic director also added that the actress is yet to sign on the dotted lines. Further announcement regarding the cast and crew will be announced by August.
Kajal had also earlier stated that she’d love to do a female-centric film and this is the first time she will be part of one. Director P Vasu’s latest offering Sivalinga, starring Raghava Lawrence, Ritika Singh and Shakthi P Vasu did middling business at the box-office.
