Director AR Murugadoss’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual Spyder is on the verge of completion with the final schedule being underway. The last schedule will go on for 10 days and two important songs will be shot as well. Starring Mahesh Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Bharath and RJ Balaji, Spyder is expected to be a spy thriller.
According to sources, the Telugu rights of the film have been sold for record prices. Now, the makers brought in their A-game in selling the Tamil rights. The recent developments indicate that Across Films, which has distributed flicks like Kuttram 23 and Sivalinga, were in talks to secure the distribution rights of this venture. Reportedly, the Tamil rights is said to be sold for a whopping '18 crores (approx).
AR Murugadoss and his team are planning to wrap up the film by the end of June and the film will hit the screens this September.
Produced by NVR Cinema and Tagore Madhu, the film will see Mahesh Babu as a stylish spy and Rakul Preet playing a clumsy medical student. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music, while Santhosh Sivan and Sreekar Prasad handle cinematography and editing respectively.
