Flush with accolades pouring in from all quarters for her alluring performance in Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Keerthy Suresh, was is in the city met ace Kamal Haasan, whose debut Tamil film Kalathur Kannama as a child artiste was with the legendary Savitri.
Keerthy took to her social media handle and posted a picture and wrote. “Happy and fortunate to get the blessings from Kamal Haasan sir on the occasion of Nadigaiyar Thilagam release. Thank you sir.”
Interestingly, one of Keerthy’s followers posted a picture of Kamal with Savitri as his reply. The premiere show of NT that was screened in the city saw the assembly of many yesteryear stars, including the lead pair Dulquer Salman–Keerthy, the actress’ mother Menaka, Ambica, Kutty Padmini, Sheela, Prabha, Jayamalini, Seema, Lissy, Jayachithra, Meena Padma Subramanian and also Savitri’s daughter Vijaya Chanmundeshwari.
