Amy Jackson has had a busy 2016 with two Tamil films (Gethu and Theri) and a Hindi film titled Freaky Ali. She also appeared in a special song titled Chalmaar in director Vijay’s Devi(l). Recently, the Brit actress wrapped up her portions in Shankar’s 2.0, which stars Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in important roles.
Now, it is being rumoured that Amy has been approached to play the female lead in director Gokul’s next film featuring Vijay Sethupathi as the hero. Speaking to DC, Gokul says, “Talks have been initiated with Amy, but we haven’t got her on board as of now. So, at this point, I won’t be able to confirm her inclusion.”
In an earlier interview, director Gokul revealed that this yet-to-be-titled film is an action-comedy. “Currently, we are finalising the rest of the cast and crew. The shooting of this film will commence in August after Vijay Sethupathi completes his other projects,” shares the Kaashmora director.
Vijay Sethupathi and Gokul had earlier teamed up for Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, which did a middling business at the box-office. However, Vijay’s performance in the movie garnered a cult following....
