Tollywood actress Shravya is the latest one to join the bandwagon of playing a ghost in a horror movie — this one is titled Vellikizhamai 13 aam Thedhi (Friday the 13th). Shravya, who started as a child artiste in T’town, recently turned heroine with the movie Love You Bangaram. The young girl is making her Tamil debut with this horror film directed by Pugazhmani.  Speaking about her experiences of playing a ghost she says, “I portray the central character Rasathi around whom the story revolves. In the flashback portions, it is revealed why I turn into a ghost. The character is not a horrifying ghost with ghastly makeup, but appears like a normal person. However, through my eyes and powerful expressions, I frighten people — i was told to terrorise the audience with my acting! It was a new experience for me and I enjoyed my work each day.”

Shravya also tells us that she is not scared of paranormal activity, and she loves watching bone-chilling thrillers. “I am fond of the horror genre, and watch lots of movies without any inhibitions  at night.” She also says that she didn’t have any apprehensions of having another heroine, Suza Kumar, in the movie. “Even big stars like Trisha and Hansika acted together. I am just up and coming. Moreover, the story is centered around me,” she sums up.
