Zombies have been one of the most celebrated genres across the international film scene. Tamil cinema also made its maiden attempt in a first horror zombie film in Miruthan. Now, filmmaker Bhuvan R Nullan of Mo fame is coming out with a zom-com, touted to be first of its kind in K’town.
Speaking about the yet to be titled film, Bhuvan says, “The film’s story itself is the protagonist and antagonist and the actors are characters interwoven into the play. Hence, though Yogi Babu and Yashika Anand and several other comedy actors are on board, there’s no hero or heroine and all of them are part of the film. The entire story premise is set against the backdrop of a single night. The shooting of this film will commence from December 14 and will be finishing in a single stretch of 30 days in Chennai.”
Gopi, Sudhakar, Anbarasan, TM Karthik, Bijili Ramesh, Ramar, Mano Bala, Lollu Sabha Manohar and Chitra are in the cast. Premgi Amaran composes the music for the film bankrolled by Vasanth Mahalingam and V. Muthukumar.
