Ritu Varma, the Telugu actress who was spotted in a brief role in Dhanush’s Velaiyilla Pattadhaari 2, seems to be on a roll. The Pelli Choopulu actress will make her Tamil debut as a heroine in Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. In addition to that, she has now signed another important project opposite Dulquer Salmaan, who is also a rising star in both Tamil and Telugu industries. Desingh Periyasamy, an award-winning short filmmaker, will be making his directorial debut with this bilingual (Tamil and Telugu).
“After considering many actresses, the director finally zeroed in on Ritu Varma for the role,” says a source.
Even though Ritu has been flooded with offers recently, she is choosing scripts that excite her only. Ritu is currently shooting for Dhruva Natchathiram in which she is paired opposite Chiyaan Vikram.
